Now, first off i must say that i may have, what one may call, a small yet extremely severe crush on Garrus Vakarian.
I.. just.. couldn't resist him!

I didn't actually like him that much in mass effect 1, he was a bro. But he ever gradually grew on me and now i can safely call myself a one Turian kind of woman. (cheesy i know, but true none the less!)

Anyways, enough about that. I am really happy with how this came out. I haven't been doing human anatomy for long at all, so it's a forever improving and experimental process. This Shepard isn't actually anything like my in game shep, more like a cross between her and myself in real life. i was really annoyed when i first started ME1 that there wasn't a longhair option. Terribly vexed.

EDIT: This work is now featured as a chapter icon for that aforementioned fanfic. Hence I am now ecstatically happy to the point that i actually felt my heart start beating again. which is a big deal actually.
I count this as the current high point of my artistic career so far (i say 'so far' with great optimism, since the term 'career' in application to myself is rather laughable. Hahaha....)

Garrus is pretty cheesy. But that's one of his quirks. His adorable befuddlement when it comes to real relationship. Its like he forgets he totally and amazingly attractive. But I'm not attracted to his looks. I was captured by his eyes, and the way the look and the way he looks at you. And the sound of his voice and how he speaks to you. Its the first time I've really crushed over someone for those reasons. Usually when I get the hots for a guy its because of his looks or his body. But Garrus is a totally different sort of guy. A guy you really can imagine spending the rest of your life with and not just a guy you want to get in bed with. Though I wouldn't mind. ;3

i honestly couldn't of put it better myself. That really is the truth of it, and why i guess it's not an instantaneous thing when/if you start crushing on him. It has nothing to do with physical appearances, it's the personality and the building of the relationship with the character that should draw you in.

Yeah, you could really say it was an accident. I didn't know about the whole romance thing when I talked to him about "easing tension." And I was so embarrassed afterwards. "Oh my gawd, what did you make me say?!!" And though it was easing tension, I'm glad they didn't show much more then the head bump. The real relationship doesn't actually start till ME3 anyways. That's where I really fell for him and decided to become a "One Turian kind of woman."

I had no interest in ME (particularly since I find canon Male shep really annoying) until I walked in my husband playing a scene with Garrus in it. I was like "OMFG WHO'S THAT?!" Needless to say I've been hooked on the ME universe, games included, ever since.

I feel the same way about male shep. ugh. Glad to see another ME convert, no one can resist Garrus' mighty charm! Wrex actually initially got me into the first ME. He looked awesome and i couldn't wait to see if he was as butt-kicking & head smashing as he looked. I broke out my shotgun and together we released hell upon the universe! MWAH HA HA! ... well that was my fantasy anyway. sadly universe needed saving not breaking.
